Introduction
UBGWTF (accessible at ubgwtf.gitlab.io) respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We are committed to promptly addressing any copyright infringement claims. This DMCA Takedown Policy explains how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement on our site and how we will respond.
Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on our site infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent via email (contact information below). For a DMCA notice to be valid, it should include the following details:
Identification of the Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work (or other intellectual property) that you believe has been infringed.
Location of Infringing Material: The exact URL or description of where the alleged infringing material is located on our site.
Your Contact Information: Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you regarding the notice.
Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy and Authority Statement: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf (you may type your full name as an electronic signature).
Please ensure all six elements above are included. Incomplete notices may not be processed. We may request additional information if needed to verify your claim or clarify your request.
Our Response
Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:
Review the Notice: We will verify that the notice contains the required information and pertains to material on our site.
Removal or Disablement: If the notice is valid, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Removal is typically temporary pending further review.
Notification: If the content was provided by a third party, we will take reasonable steps to notify the person responsible that the content has been removed or disabled. (Note: Our site does not host user-generated content, so in most cases the content in question is maintained by us.)
Good Faith Compliance: We aim to resolve all takedown requests promptly and in good faith, in accordance with DMCA requirements.
We take copyright infringement seriously. Repeated infringement by a contributor (if we had user accounts) would result in appropriate action, such as permanent removal of content or other measures to prevent future violations.
Counter-Notification (If Applicable)
Because our website does not allow users to post content, counter-notifications are generally not applicable. However, if you believe material was removed in error (for example, if you are the rightful owner of the content that was removed), you may contact us to discuss the issue. We will provide instructions for a counter-notice if appropriate. Any counter-notice should likewise comply with the requirements of the DMCA (including your identification, the removed content’s location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification).
